FROM EVIDENCE TO ACTION

Management brief

What the figures suggest, how much they support, and what to check next. Up to three priorities for the selected source and period.

ACCESS OVER TIME

Measured visits

Daily · Trinidad & Tobago time

Gaps mark withheld counts, not zero visits. Zero means no events were recorded; the first and last day may be partial. Expand the counts beneath the chart for exact values. Recorded adult English page visits only. Browser privacy signals and blocked requests can leave gaps. Reloading can count as another visit.

CONTENT

Sections viewed

Section views

Ranked by recorded views, with names matching the website. Use “View section” to open the content. Withheld and zero counts remain unranked.

A view means a section entered the visible area; it does not establish that the guidance was read or understood.

LISTENING

What visitors tell us

Answers submitted through “Give website feedback” and “Share feedback” on the website. These are voluntary responses, separate from automatic usage counts.

Structured feedback only. This dashboard contains no personal stories or requests for assistance. Voluntary responses may not represent all visitors.

TOOLS & ACTIONS

What people use

Recorded uses

Named tools and actions from the website. Each card explains exactly what was counted.

Counts cover visits that allowed measurement. They are not unique people. Repeat actions may count more than once; the cards should not be added together as a visitor total. <5 means a count is withheld because it is below five; 0 means none were recorded.

FINDING SUPPORT

Areas selected in the directory

Recorded selections

Explore which broad regions people select while finding support. Counts follow the reporting period and data source above and are included in the report export.

Only selections made after allowing measurement are counted. Repeat selections can count again. These are not visitor locations, unique people, municipal-corporation statistics or measures of abuse. <5 means the count is withheld; 0 means no selections were recorded. National pathways and “Ask provider about location” are listed separately from the mapped areas. This measure begins with the October 2026 release.

SECTION DEPTH

How far down a section becomes visible

Choose one of four public sections and a screen size. The counts show recorded occasions when each point in that section became visible.

SELECTED WEBSITE SECTION

View section on SafeSteps ↗

25%, 50%, 75% and 100% mark positions within the section, not percentages of visitors. A visit can count at several positions. Short sections can become fully visible immediately, and jumping to an anchor may skip earlier milestones. The outline shows relative positions, not a screenshot of a visitor’s page. Visibility does not establish reading or understanding. Counts below five remain withheld.

HISTORY FOR COMPARISON

Saved monthly summaries

Completed months are saved after seven days and kept for up to three years. New summaries preserve feedback ratings, issue categories, section views, tool uses, area selections and section depth alongside headline counts. Small groups remain suppressed. Older summaries may contain headline totals only or omit area selections. This history follows the selected data source and is independent of the reporting-period filter.

Sign in to view saved summaries.

Saved counts are a snapshot of each completed month, so later provider corrections may differ. Downloaded copies remain with the staff member who exports them.

INTERPRETATION & SCOPE

Keep the meaning clear.

Use these findings alongside stakeholder feedback and supervised usability sessions.

Contact selections ≠ help received

A click cannot tell us whether a call connected or a service provided support.

Counts ≠ unique people

Temporary identifiers link events within an open visit. They do not establish unique people or link visits across devices.

Data retention

PostHog guarantees one year of event retention on the current free plan; events may remain longer. There is no fixed one-year deletion deadline. Saved monthly summaries are kept for up to three years. Report filters do not delete stored events.
